“ Service is excellent here, as is the food. We got the pork fried rice, General Chicken pan fried, and Mongolian Beef. Everything was hot, so flavorful, and there was enough to take leftovers. Another table got honey walnut shrimp maybe it was chicken? and it looked amazing, so well have to try that next time. Did I mention the service was fantastic? Everyone is so friendly! ”

“ I have always seen a lot of people coming out of this place with takeout, and finally decided to give it a try. I usually go to another place when I want Chinese, but since that place is temporarily closed, I had to venture out. I am not disappointed at all. All the food we got was super fresh tasting, and looking, not to mention delicious! All the meat was tender, and the veggies were cooked perfectly, nice and tender with a hint of crunch still. The prices are excellent as well, especially considering the large portions they give you. I was happy they accommodated me. I called about 1520 minutes before they were scheduled to close. I asked if it was too late to place a take out order, and they gladly took my order, and told me no problem! Overall great food and service! I will definitely be getting food here again in the future. ”

“ My husband and I were craving Chinese food so we headed up to Placerville to try the restaurant on Placerville Dr only to find out it was closed due to damage from a car. So we googled other locations close by and ended up at Grand China. Weve lived in EDC for years and never knew that it was even there. Since this is on the back side of the shopping center and can be easily missed. I have to say the food was excellent, it was so tasty and light, not greasy at all like many other restaurants! The owner and wait staff were so nice, the atmosphere was great too. The portions were generous and I was actually so happy that we had leftovers to take home and enjoy again.Well definitely be back to this hidden treasure behind Mickey Ds!! ”

“ I give this place high marks because the food is delicious, and Im picky about Chinese food because growing up we had a great one in San Luis Obispo and Grand China is as close to that one that I can get. I think the flavors are spot on. The lemon chicken is yummy. But my all time favorite is eggs foo young with the gravy, just like we had back in S.L.O. The fried rice is perfect and I have had them serve the chow mein with crunchy noodles like when I was a kid. Its my favorite way to eat chow mein. Eating in is a great experience usually pretty casual and relaxing. The food is always hot and fresh. This has been my experience. The staff is willing to please and has honored my special requests. ”

The service is always extremely friendly! Its a great place to dine in with a great ambiance! have never had a bad meal there! The Mongolian beef is amazing! They will even make special requests if you ask! highly recommend ! For lunch or dinner! ”

We ordered sweet and sour pork, chicken and vegetables, chicken chow mein, and TwiceCooked Pork which was apart of their lunch special that come with your choice of entree and regular rice or fried rice with a vegetable egg roll and crispy wonton wrapper. This special comes to around 1113 dollars per plate. If youre ever in town or willing to make the drive, you would not be disappointed. Love this place and crave it all the time! ”
